FEBRUARY 2008: The Other Chekhov, edited by Okla Elliott and Kyle Minor. An anthology of lesser-known Chekhov stories, each introduced by a contemporary author. These stories show the Chekhov who was interested in murder, unprettified adultery, extreme poverty, and characters eaten by sharks (yes, characters eaten by sharks). APRIL 2008: Murder on Gasoline Lake, a nonfiction chapbook by Steve Davenport, author of Uncontainable Noise and nonfiction editor at Ninth Letter.

MAY 2008: Riding the Dog, a collection of essays (with an introduction by Robert Stewart, editor of New Letters) by renowned novelist, short story writer, and translator Thomas E. Kennedy, the author of over 20 books and recipient of Pushcart and O.Henry prizes.
